About British Footcare Group

Our Story

British Footcare Group was established in 2020, starting as a small independent business in Stockport during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.

The first clinic opened in Bramhall Village Square in November 2020, during a national COVID-19 lockdown. At that time, our Founder had 16 years of experience within the foot health and footwear sector, including working with Scholl Footcare when dedicated Scholl stores were still operating.

Building on that foundation, a business plan was developed with the aim of creating a structured, professional and accessible foot care service for the local community.

Following approval and funding through the British Business Bank, the business launched during a highly uncertain period, with repeated disruption due to lockdown restrictions.

Initially trading as FC-BY-DT, the business was later rebranded to provide a clearer and more accessible identity for patients.

Our Growth

From those early beginnings, the organisation has grown steadily. As of June 2026, British Footcare Group operates across four clinic locations, continuing to expand access to high-quality, clinically led foot care services.

This growth has been driven by experience, long-term commitment, and the support of a skilled and dedicated team.

The business has invested significantly in modern clinical equipment, treatment capability, and structured clinic environments, alongside providing a range of insoles, orthotics and foot support solutions to improve patient outcomes.

Trusted brand partner providing reliable product solutions.

Our Partnerships & Investment

British Footcare Group works closely with a range of trusted suppliers and partners to ensure patients have access to high-quality products and modern clinical care.

We are an authorised stockist of Scholl products, supplying a wide range of foot care solutions including creams, insoles and treatment products. This relationship reflects long-standing experience within the sector, built over many years within the industry.

British Footcare Group remains 100% independently owned, allowing full control over clinical standards, service delivery and future growth. This combination of expertise and ongoing investment allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

We also work with major podiatry suppliers and specialist leasing providers to equip our clinics with high-end clinical equipment, ensuring our team delivers effective and up-to-date treatment.

“

Starting the business during COVID-19 was both exciting and incredibly challenging. Like many small businesses in the early days, I was involved in every part of building the clinics—from initial setup through to day-to-day operations. This hands-on involvement continues today, from the purple and gold clinic design and overall branding to the website, in-store marketing, and everything in between. Building on over 16 years of experience at the time, including working with Scholl Footcare, we have continued to grow and develop into a structured and reliable organisation. I’m proud of what has been achieved and the care we now provide across all of our clinics.

Having worked within podiatry for 27 years, including extensive experience within the NHS, I bring a wealth of knowledge across both routine and high-risk foot care. This includes managing conditions such as diabetes, rheumatoid conditions, vascular issues, biomechanical concerns and nail procedures. Alongside our highly skilled team, we are able to meet a wide range of patient needs—from basic foot care through to more complex clinical treatment.
