What the patients are talking about

Request an Appointment

British Footcare Group is a multidisciplinary service. Please complete this triage form to help us match you with the right specialist.

Understanding Your Foot Care Treatment Options

At the British Footcare Group, we offer both Podiatrist-led and Foot Health Practitioner-led appointments, working together as a multidisciplinary team. This approach allows us to deliver the right level of care for each patient while keeping treatment accessible, transparent, and cost-effective.

As a result, walk-in patients may sometimes need to wait, and same-day treatment cannot always be guaranteed.

Important Advice: For best practice—particularly if you are seeking a specific treatment or hoping to be seen within a short timeframe—we strongly recommend telephoning our reception team in advance at 0161 515 1997.

In addition to pre-booked appointments, we also operate daily walk-in style clinics, subject to practitioner availability. Availability can vary depending on who is on duty, clinic capacity, and the type of treatment you are seeking.

Why We Use a Multidisciplinary Approach

Not every foot concern requires the same level of clinical intervention. By combining specialists, we ensure optimal care pathways: HCPC-registered Podiatrists for complex care, and Foot Health Practitioner for routine maintenance. This structure helps keep costs lower for patients without compromising professional oversight.

What the Core Treatment Includes
  • Routine toenail care (trimming and filing)

  • Non‑complex hard skin reduction

  • Basic skin and nail health check

  • Simple professional advice

  • Price: Core FHP appointment: £34.25*

  • Price: Core Podiatrist appointment: £37.25*

Our Approach

*We use a core‑plus‑extras model, meaning you only pay for treatments your feet actually need. This allows us to provide high‑quality, tailored care without unnecessary costs.

Additional Treatments (if clinically required)

Extras are added only where needed and may include:

  • Nail care: fungal nail reduction, ingrown nail care, nail reconstruction, fingernail care

  • Skin care: corns, callus, cracked heels, verrucae (silver nitrate, cryotherapy, or debridement)

  • Clinical care: wound or ulcer care, diabetic or high‑risk foot reviews, doppler assessment

  • Biomechanics: gait / MSK assessment

  • Other: padding, strapping, dressings, basic nail painting, complex reviews

Additional or specialist care reflects increased clinical complexity and may require more time, staged treatment, or follow‑up appointments.

During your visit, you’re also welcome to enjoy a complimentary foot soak (where appropriate) and a selection of complimentary teas and coffees.
