Prioritising foot health is essential, incorporating preventative care measures establishes a strong foundation for long term wellness.

Regular visits with a foot care specialist will maintain and improve your overall foot health. Routine examinations by a foot care specialist allows for early detection of subtle issues and hard to see abnormalities or simply providing peace of mind that your feet are in excellent condition.

A podiatrist or foot health practitioner can evaluate your skin and nails for potential issues and assess the overall condition of your feet. Getting your feet checked regularly is one of the easiest ways to practise proactive self-care. It helps catch subtly changes early on, keeping your feet feeling happy and healthy!

The skin on the soles of your feet is naturally thicker than everywhere else on your body. Given the constant use and pressure they endure daily, proper foot care is essential. Consistent daily moisturisation is essential for preventing epidermal dehydration and fissuring, helping to avoid painful conditions like corns.

Urea is a naturally occurring keratolytic agent within the epidermis. Utilising a topical based cream enhances hydration by drawing water into the skin and strengthening its protective barrier to obtain optimal health. Individually presenting with significant callus formation can benefit from a higher concentration of urea, typically between 10% and 25%. The higher percentage effectively helps break down and soften thickened skin on the feet. Therefore, consistent daily moisturisation can effectively prevent common foot issues.
